What's New At Woodland School
Check out these class websites: Woodchuck I would like to thank all of the parents for being patient Tuesday morning with the delay of the busses picking up your children due to the road conditions. The Annual Woodland School Spelling Bee was held Thursday. This years Bee winner was eighth grader, Denis Dube. The runner-up in the Bee was sixth grader, Caleb Trombley. Congratulations to the two boys as well as to those students that competed in the Bee. The Winter Carnival is next Saturday, February 4th. Students that are participating in the events should have their registration forms in by this Friday. The speaking contest for the King and Queen will be held Thursday, February 2nd at 1:30; we have six contestants this year! Please make plans to come out and enjoy a morning of family fun! Next Thursday, February 2nd will be our annual Woodland Woodchuck Day. There will be special activities to celebrate. More information will come next week. Keep in mind we like to wear our school colors, blue and white, as well as wear any Woodchuck clothing such as shirts or sweatshirts showing our Woodchuck spirit. It has been brought to my attention that some students have been selling items to other students at school as well as on the busses. This activity needs to stop immediately. If this is witnessed happening, the items and money will be confiscated and parents notified. Upcoming Events: ~Dorothy Nolte Have a great week!
